Invitation to a Hands-on Seminar of the Interreg CBCC project.
5th November 2024 – 13:00-16:00 at Karlstad University, 21E 415A and via Zoom (https://kau-se.zoom.us/j/69177881065) – please register for attending online or in person (see below).
A survey that we conducted within the scope of the CBCC (Cross Border Cyber Capacity) Interreg Sweden - Norway project revealed that many organisations in Värmland think that they are not well prepared yet for complying with upcoming cyber security laws, especially in regard to the challenges of conducting and aligning different risk management requirements pursuant to these new and to existing laws, including the GDPR, AI Act, Digital Services Act (DSA), NIS 2, Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and other laws.
This hands-on seminar discusses the challenges and possible approaches and gives hands-on advice for conducting and aligning risk management approaches to achieve legal compliance and effectively protect cybersecurity and human rights.
The workshop will involve
-
Marit Hansen (General Director – Data Protection Authority of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany)
-
Felix Bieker (Data Protection Authority of Schleswig-Holstein – he will attend online)
-
Anja Møller Pedersen (Danish Institute for Human Rights – she will attend online) – presenting Human Rights Impact Assessment Tools.
Afternoon coffee/tea and fika will be offered.
Registration
Please register your physical or online attendance by emailing Simone Fischer-Hübner, simone.fischer-huebner@kau.se.
